High Tide Charters is a fully licensed and insured fishing charter service in Lake Charles Louisiana. We fish out of Big Lake catching Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. We typically leave the dock at first light and head to our first fishing spot while watching an incredible sunrise. There are many places we may head to fish depending on what we are targeting and where the bite has been. Our typical catch is speckled trout, redfish, and maybe a few flounder. This is a unique place and at certain times of the year, it comes alive and everything thrives. Occasionally there are also a few seasonal bites that are outstanding. In the summer you can always expect to catch trout and redfish, and depending on the weather we may be able to go offshore to catch trout on the beach or even fish some rip lines to catch the tasty triple-tail. In the fall the lake comes to life while the shrimp make their way out of the estuary, followed by the famous Calcasieu flounder run. This permits some of the best flounder fishing on the Gulf Coast to take place.
